Eyebrows health process and normal reactions

Day 1-2 The eyebrows are approximately 35 to 50% darker and bolder in width than they will be when healed. Your skin is red under the pigment which causes the color of the pigment to appear darker and slightly uneven appearance. There is some swelling, itching, light scabbing, light bruising and dry tightness. although difficult to see due to the thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. Gel ice packs are nice relief for swelling and bruising. Aftercare natural oil work well for scabbing and tightness. This will subside. Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow procedure to flake away and a more narrow appearance will result. New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in a softer appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size than you desire. This is all part of the process.

Day 3-4 Eyebrows will start to itch, will appear a bit thicker in texture, and color change or color loss. Natural exfoliation begins., do not exfoliate yourself. The procedure area has to heal completely before we can address any concerns. Healing takes about four weeks minimum.

Day 4-7 The skin begins to flake- peeling from the outside edges first.

Day 7-12 Color finishes flaking off and appears softer and greyer for 5 weeks until color clarifies.

AVOID ANY SKINCARE THAT HAS THE WORDS "ACID" "RETIN A" "GLYCOL" ON THE AREA TREATED!

This allows adequate time for healing of both your Initial Microblading Appointment as well as a Touch-Up Enhancement Session 8-12 Weeks prior. To have perfect brows it is a multi-step process. Dream brows cannot be achieved in just one session. Some clients need more than two sessions to achieve their desire density and shape.
