BEAUTIFYING PEOPLE’S LIVES

  • Immediately after your procedure, apply an ice pack until 48 to 36 hours to reduce swelling. The area should be iced for 3-7 seconds on / 30 seconds off repeat 10 times every hour de first 4 hours after this time you can do it every morning and night. Swelling usually lasts no longer than 48 hours, however, is completely normal that every morning for the firsts 4 to 5 days when you wake up in the mornings the procedure area is swelling.
  • After 24 hours put a thin layer of ointment on area right before you shower (in the morning). Use mild cleanser or cleansing in at night of procedure and morning after, when you put ointment do so very gentle and always use a fresh Q-tip with each application or use your fingers previously wash your hands very well with antiseptic soap; not use a wash cloth for dry your hands use only paper towel,  this will reduce the risk of a secondary infection. Only is you feel itchy/dry skin apply another thin layer at middle day.
  • Keep your hands clean and avoid touching the affected area(s).
  • Remember Ointment or Vitamin A y D Oil apply a thin layer to prevent cracking, dry or itching skin. It is absolutely imperative that you do not let the area dry out as this will create dryness and scabbing, resulting in the loss of color and shading. After about 3-7 days the surface layer of skin, the epidermis, should be healed. Don't use so much Vitamin A&D because the scab will fall out before healing and cause lost of color. Apply only the amount necessary.
  • Don't pick, scratch, or scrape off any dry skin. Simply moisturize to relieve any itching.
  • Avoid using conventional makeup over your permanent makeup for about 10 days until the epidermis is healed. Eye shadows and other makeup contain bacteria which can cause an infection.
  • Do not scrub or rub procedure areas in any way will heal unevenly or cause scarring and infection. Use only clean water (filtered water) to wash gently pat dry during your daily cleansing procedure.
  • Do wear a cap when in the sun in order to protect the fresh color. Avoid direct sunlight for 3 to 6 weeks are recommended. Sunlight can greatly fade the procedure outcome. You should wait about a week until the epidermal layer of skin is healed before you begin use of sunblock.
  • Avoid tanning beds, the sun, chlorinated pools, hot tubs, any bodies of water, direct water pressure and all creams around the eye for two weeks can fade the procedure. Note that permanent makeup procedures are punctures the skin leaving it susceptible to bacteria.
  • Avoid swimming in lakes and oceans as these can also harbor harmful bacteria which may cause an infection.
  • Avoid microdermabrasion, acid peels, and acne medications such as Retin-A, Salicylic Acid, topical steroids, Peroxide Benzoyl, Retinol, Renova or products that contain AHA’s, or similar lightening products (Glycolic, Lactic Acids, etc). These products will fade your pigment color prematurely. as these may greatly fade or damage your new cosmetic procedures. I am not responsible for your choice of facial products and their effect.
  • Avoid sweating such as from vigorous exercise for 7 days.

Eyeliner

After eye procedures, eyelashes may stick together and eyelids appear red and puffy.

Do not use eyelash curlers for 2 weeks after the procedure.

Do not wear contact lenses for at least 48 hours following the procedure.

Do wear sunglasses when in the sun in order to protect the fresh color for the first two weeks.

Eyes may be swollen and tender for a few days. They will be the most swollen the mornings after the procedure. Don’t worry about the swelling, your eyes will become much less swollen within a couple of hours, with normal activity. You may want to place a cold compress on your eyes for a few seconds when you first wake up in the morning or any other time you feel discomfort or swelling.

Put a thin layer of ointment on area, the amount for both eyes should be the size of a grain of rice long (around 8 millimeters or 0.3 Inches) approximately or 1 drop if you use oil. The excess of ointment fades the pigment.

Lipblush

The anesthetic will have worn off within 30 minutes and your colour will come back into your lip tissue. Ice can be applied the same as the eyeliner to relieve the burning sensation. After 2 hours and before you go to bed gently blot the area with a damp cotton wool pad to remove excess body fluids and tiny blood spots to eliminate crusting. Apply the healing balm every hour whilst awake. Do not apply lipstick until after 7 days. It is possible that an allergic reaction to the ingredients of the lipstick may occur should you apply within this period.

Be careful when eating spicy, salty or citrus foods; avoid them if possible. Drink through a straw to prevent contact with contaminates and washing off your healing balm and also be careful when brushing your teeth.

People who get fever blisters / cold sores may experience an outbreak after lip procedures. The antiviral prescription should be taken. If you suffer cold sores and are not using Zovirax/Acyclovir, Valtrex/Valacyclovir or a similar product to prevent an outburst, I will not be responsible for excessive colour fading. I can guarantee a 90% chance you will have an outbreak of cold sores if Zovirax or medication tablets are not used. Herpes Simplex.

Eyebrows

Immediately after the procedure your eyebrows will appear to be too dark, too thick and will have an unnatural appearance. Relax! And don’t worry, within one to two weeks the color will fade and they will become more natural-looking. It is only after healing is complete that you will be able to fully appreciate your new eyebrows. At that time you may even think they are too light if that is the case we will correct it during your “touch-up” session. On average you will lose 20% to 40% of the initial color.

Brows may oxidize and actually get slightly darker before the color softens in the healing process. Don’t worry, this is normal, they will lighten!

Always wear a powerful sunscreen when in the sun, use a SPF 30 or higher, on your brows. Hair strokes and lighter colors will fade faster than a solid brow fill. Fading is also dependent on your aftercare, your skin’s age and its ability to retain color. Although it is permanent, your color will fade over time. You must do your part to ensure long-lasting results by proper follow-up and care.

Skin Camouflage & Reconstruction Purpose

Before Your Procedure

You might be a candidate if you also meet the criteria below. You should:

Have realistic expectations: Camouflage tattooing will not completely restore skin to the way it looked before it was injured. The process will not “erase” a scar or skin abnormality so it appears completely gone and the area looks “perfect” again. It improves color differences to help disguise the scar or anomaly and make it less noticeable to other people.

Not spend time tanning: A scar camouflage tattoo will not be a “perfect” match to the surrounding skin color. This is due to the constant changes in skin tones from blood flow, body temperature, and tanning. The pigment in the tattoo will not darken if it is exposed to sunlight or tanning booths, so the tattoo may appear lighter if the surrounding skin tans. When the tattoo color matches tanned skin, it may appear darker once the surrounding tanned skin fades. Therefore, if you spend time outdoors, you will need to adjust your lifestyle or decide to match the tattoo to “winter” or “summer” skin and live with the changes in between.

Not expect results in one session: Camouflage re-pigmentation is a process, not a one-time "cure". It is performed on “unhealthy” skin that has been damaged or altered. Its response cannot be predicted—a scar or Vitiligo patch may have areas that absorb pigment, reject it, or both. The area will look dark and red immediately after a tattooing session, and then it takes several weeks to show the healed color (or not). This requires time and patience.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

REMEMBER the colour is up to 50% darker straight after the treatment. It will fade after 4 to 7 days and the true colour will not come through until up to 4 weeks after the initial treatment. During the healing process, the colour may seem to have disappeared as it is obscured by the healing skin. Under no circumstances should you have further permanent cosmetic work undertaken during the 3-4 week period.

The most important thing to remember is to constantly keep thin ointment layer on your eyeliner, lips or eyebrows for at least 10 days.
